GANT is luxury clothing brand of American heritage launched in New Haven in 1949. The brand has since then been further developed, being influenced by European styles, and is now a global clothing business.









In the 1960's, the students and professors at Yale were among GANT's first loyal customers. Their desire for a more comfortable, more relaxed fashion helped make New Haven, the hometown of both GANT and Yale, the style capital of the entire East Coast collegiate world.
